I was working through Euclid's Elements, proof by proof.  Even in basic geometry, there are required leaps of faith. 

I am, but who can say what I am?

I think nobody really knows sho s/he is...maybe you can analyze what you were,but analyze doesn't mean to know. In my opinion, science isn't the answer.
